Trumpets bring brilliance and proclamation — the festal fanfares, the descants that lift a whole congregation. In the Australian Christian Orchestra trumpeters are central to our biggest worship and concert moments.
Auditioning as a trumpeter
Grade 7+ AMEB (or equivalent). A short video is enough. If you play piccolo trumpet (for Baroque repertoire), that's a real asset.

B-flat and C trumpet?
B-flat is the standard requirement to start.
