Basses are the foundation of the Australian Christian Choir — the harmonic floor everyone else is built on, and the source of some of the most powerful moments in sacred choral music. Strong low voices give the whole choir its grounding.
Auditioning as a bass / baritone
We welcome confident basses and baritones who can hold a line and read basic notation. Send a short video of you singing. Fortnightly rehearsals at UTS Building 5, Haymarket, fees from $100/year.

Both are welcome. We place you by your comfortable low range after a trial.
How low do I need to sing?
A reliable low E–F is plenty for most repertoire; true basses are treasured.
